THE COMPANY
Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company, a division of OGE Energy Corp. ( hereinafter referred to as “OGE”) is a public utility engaged in the production and sale of electricity in Oklahoma and Western Arkansas. OG&E provides service to approximately 750,000 retail customers. OG&E is regulated by the Oklahoma Corporation Commission as to rates and terms and conditions of providing electricity to various customers within the state of Oklahoma and Western Arkansas.
OG&E uses natural gas as a boiler fuel to run certain gas fired generating plants to make electricity for its customers.
ABOUT THE RFP
The general purpose of the Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to solicit, evaluate, and select or reject proposals for natural gas supply through a competitive bidding process. The RFP is designed to ensure that all bidders are treated in an equitable and consistent manner. This RFP outlines the requirements and provides information and instructions to prospective bidders participating in this solicitation.
