OG&E Teacher Grant Program  

OGE Energy Corp. is now accepting applications for the 2012 Teacher Grant Program. Applications must be received by Friday, June 1, 2012.

In 2011, the company awarded grants of up to $1,000 to 34 public school teachers throughout Oklahoma and western Arkansas who submitted proposals for classroom projects focusing on math, science and reading skills.

It is the eleventh year for the OGE Energy program. Overall, the company has committed more than  $220,000 to help fund more than 245 creative school projects.
